I married my best friend on my 25th birthday, just one month before starting medical school and six and half years after we met on the UW Crew Team. In our first year of marriage Ian and I made it through my first year of medical school. There was lots of laughter, a few tears (mostly mine), plenty of amazing friends, wonderful families, great food, wine and ice cream, and spectacular adventures. We lived it and loved it, and now I want to document it. Here's to much more to come...

Loving Seattle in the fall.

Fall 2011

Fall is always a beautiful time in Seattle, and the fall of 2011 was no different. We tried our best despite my crazy school schedule to enjoy it as much as possible.

I love improptu get aways, and a quick weekend at Avery's cabin was just that. We headed up on Sunday afternoon, the boys fished while I studied. We collected the last of the seasons blackberries and then enjoyed a fabulous dinner on the deck watching the sunset before enjoying an outdoor movie.
